Your Role

We are looking for a proficient Legal Technology Educator with a strong background in Case Management and Document Management Systems to become a part of our Next Generation Matter Management initiative.

As a Legal Technology Educator, your primary responsibility will be to create and implement training programs that enable our team members to effectively utilize our proprietary Peppermint Matter Management system, which is built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 technology. This will enhance operational efficiency and align with the firm's strategic objectives.

Your position will be crucial in facilitating the successful integration of our innovative Matter Management solutions within the organization, promoting optimal use of our investments in information technology by empowering colleagues to utilize the technology effectively to streamline case management and document processing.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Support the agile deployment and rollout of the Peppermint Matter Management system, ensuring comprehensive training for all team members.
  • Design and deliver innovative technology training sessions, fostering understanding and adoption to assist with the delivery of iterative updates and the introduction of new functionalities.
  • Create educational materials using various methodologies, including but not limited to: workshops (both virtual and in-person), group coaching, e-learning modules, video content, and written resources tailored to the needs of our legal professionals.
  • Develop and maintain training documentation, user manuals, guides, and other reference materials.
  • Collaborate with project teams and legal professionals, engaging in regular meetings, working with early adopters, managers, and legal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify training requirements and assess the effectiveness of training initiatives.
  • Provide personalized coaching and support to colleagues on system functionalities and best practices.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in legal technology to integrate into training programs.
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of learning interventions, utilizing feedback to enhance future training efforts.

About You

  • Demonstrated experience as a Technology or IT Trainer, with a strong background in classroom, virtual, e-learning, and one-on-one training.
  • Previous involvement in broader organizational projects, with the ability to understand the larger context and identify challenges and requirements.
  • Capability to assess training needs and perform gap analyses.
  • Experience in developing training materials and conducting engaging training sessions.
  • Familiarity with the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) model.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical staff.
  • Experience in stakeholder analysis and management, with the ability to navigate relationships at all levels within the organization.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.
  • Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and applications within Microsoft Office 365.
  • Experience in a regulated environment is preferred.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing requirements and travel as necessary.
