CMA Recruitment Group is excited to collaborate with an innovative technology firm to find a Temporary Financial Reporting Supervisor for a short-term engagement.

In this position, you will work closely with the Financial Controller, Finance Director, and the broader finance team to deliver valuable insights that aid in strategic decision-making and support the formulation and execution of financial initiatives.

Key Responsibilities of the Financial Reporting Supervisor:
  • Prepare and evaluate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, presenting findings to the Financial Controller.
  • Develop and oversee budgets, forecasts, and cash flow management for the organization and its divisions, providing variance analysis and actionable recommendations.
  • Provide financial counsel and support to senior management and business units regarding financial performance, risks, opportunities, and best practices.
  • Review and reconcile accounts and transactions, ensuring timely and precise month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Maintain internal controls and audit trails, ensuring adherence to accounting standards, policies, and regulations.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Experience in Accounting, Reporting, Forecasting, Budgeting, Business Plan development, Working Capital management, and Cash Flow.
  • Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
