Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing the year-end audit process, and ensuring accurate records are maintained on our accounting system.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Prepare and review financial statements, including statutory financial statements, quarterly and annual reporting packs, and investor reports.
  2. Manage the year-end audit process, including completion of routine audit queries and requests.
  3. Ensure accurate records are maintained on our accounting system, investor platform, and Microsoft Excel working papers.
  4. Prepare and reconcile periodic VAT returns.
  5. Assist with treasury management, including preparation of monthly payment runs and inputting payments into banking platforms.
  6. Support with ad-hoc client projects and assist managers with complex transactions, such as acquisitions and disposals accounting.
  7. Act as a mentor to junior staff members, providing training and support.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

ACA or ACCA qualification.Strong knowledge of industry and accounting principles.
