Role Overview – Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will oversee the preparation and/or evaluation of annual statutory financial statements while supporting the dividend cycle for the UK and various legal entities within the EMEA region, ensuring adherence to relevant accounting standards. You will also ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as assist in the annual internal and external audit processes for the aforementioned entities.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Ensure local GAAP adjustments are accurately recorded in the secondary ledger for entities transitioned to Oracle, reconciling these with submitted financial statements after each annual cycle and prior to the next financial period close.
- Assist the Statutory Reporting Manager in monitoring the statutory reporting requirements and progress by maintaining the compliance tracking portal.
- Collaborate with local controllers and advisors on the potential rollout of statutory reporting software to integrate additional legal entities' financial statements.
- Work in conjunction with Treasury and Legal teams to review cash and reserves availability quarterly and calculate proposed dividends for the EMEA region, preparing necessary documentation for board approval.
- Provide support in the implementation of new financial systems, such as Oracle and Microsoft Dynamics, across the two divisions of the organization.
- Collaborate with the Corporation Tax Manager/Tax Accountant to ensure tax provisions and related disclosures are accurately reflected in the statutory financial statements.

About You:
You will be a fully qualified ACCA or ACA finance professional or possess significant relevant experience in statutory accounts, ideally within a large multinational organization.
Experience in preparing statutory accounts, along with a working knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS102) and ideally US GAAP, will be highly advantageous in this position. You should be detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills at all levels, and be adept at prioritizing workload and meeting deadlines.
