Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team at BAE Systems - UK. As an AR Specialist, you will be responsible for applying a strong focus on continuous improvement, analysing current AR processes and identifying opportunities for improvement supporting delivery of solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Process Improvement: Analyse current AR processes and identify opportunities for improvement, supporting delivery of solutions.
  2. System Development: Support the development, testing and delivery of any new systems or processes impacting the AR team.
  3. Technology Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend new technologies or software that can enhance AR processes.
  4. Data Integrity: Ensure data integrity and accuracy within AR systems.
  5. Metrics Analysis: Analyse AR metrics and provide insights to senior management for decision-making.
  6. Culture Development: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the AR team.
  7. Compliance: Ensure AR processes comply with relevant accounting standards, company policies, and legal regulations.

Requirements:

  1. Accounting Software: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. SAP, Oracle, LN) and AR management tools.
  2. Microsoft Office: Microsoft Office to include advanced Excel skills and experience with data analysis and reporting.
  3. ERP Systems: Familiarity with ERP systems and AR automation solutions.
  4. Experience: Experience in accounts receivable, credit management, or a related field.
