About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Financial Operations team at BAE Systems. As an AR Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts receivable processes, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and optimize financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Improvement: Analyze current AR processes and identify opportunities for improvement, developing and implementing solutions to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • System Development: Support the development, testing, and delivery of new systems or processes impacting the AR team, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Technology Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend new technologies or software that can enhance AR processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure data accuracy and integrity within AR systems, maintaining high-quality data to support informed decision-making.
  • Metrics Analysis: Analyze AR metrics and provide insights to senior management, informing strategic decisions and driving business growth.
  • Culture Development: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the AR team, promoting a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Compliance: Ensure AR processes comply with relevant accounting standards, company policies, and legal regulations, maintaining a high level of regulatory compliance.
Requirements
  • Accounting Software: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, LN) and AR management tools, with experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • ERP Systems: Familiarity with ERP systems and AR automation solutions, with a strong understanding of financial operations and process optimization.
  • Experience: Experience in accounts receivable, credit management, or a related field, with a proven track record of driving process improvements and delivering results.
