About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at BMR Solutions Ltd. As a key member of our Manufacturing Systems Team, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lean manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Design and optimize manufacturing cell layouts to meet production requirements.
- Implement and maintain risk assessments and safe systems of work to ensure a safe working environment.
- Specify and purchase tooling and equipment to support manufacturing operations.
- Ensure configuration control of operational documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
- Resolve non-conformities and support the manufacturing process to ensure quality and efficiency.
Requirements
- Equivalent experience in a similar role.
- Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Process documentation authoring and writing of procedures and work instructions.
- Experience in optimizing production processes and providing production support.
- Problem-solving skills and experience with root cause analysis tools.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Technical skills in engineering drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
- Lean manufacturing principles and basic CAD skills.
- MRP/ERP system experience with SAP.
- DFM/PFMEA awareness and experience in implementing change.
- Risk assessments and compliance with health and safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
- Project management experience, including risk, schedule, and cost.
