Job Title: Education Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Education Director to lead our educational programs and ensure the success of our centre in delivering a well-rounded Islamic education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of educational policies in line with our mission and values.
  • Ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning within our programs, providing instructional leadership and guiding educators to enhance their teaching practices.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that promotes student engagement and well-being.
  • Lead the design and implementation of our curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of our students and aligns with Islamic values.
  • Oversee the assessment and evaluation processes to ensure they effectively measure student learning and development.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with students, parents, and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant Degree are mandatory.
  • A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience is essential to ensure effective oversight of educational activities.
  • A teaching qualification such as PGCE is required.
  • Experience as a Headteacher in an Islamic school is essential.
  • Professionalism, confidence, and demonstrated leadership qualities are essential.
  • A 'can-do' attitude with a genuine intention to contribute to the community.

Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 per year, depending on experience.
