Paediatric Clinical Research Nurse

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new team of dynamic Band 6 Children's Clinical Research Nurses to join our inspirational Wolf CRF team to lead on the delivery of high-quality research and clinical care for participants within a range of therapeutic areas such as neurology, renal, and infectious diseases across a portfolio of non-commercial and commercially funded studies.
This role will also involve leading and caring for children and young people enrolled in early-phase research trials with the support of the senior clinical team.
Main ResponsibilitiesAs a Children's Research Nurse, you will be working with the wider multidisciplinary team across commercial and non-commercial studies to deliver a seamless pathway for patients participating in research trials/studies.
You will be responsible for the holistic nursing care of children/young people and their families on existing and new clinical trials and contribute to the assessment and management of their care pathways.
This will involve leading on study set up activities, screening, recruiting, educating, and monitoring children and young people in studies as well as the collation and documentation of study data.
You will be trained to take informed consent for selected studies that do not involve a medicinal product.
