Senior Paediatric Clinical Research Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Senior Paediatric Clinical Research Nurse to join our team at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for promoting high standards of patient care and research practice, and contributing to the recruitment and retention of patients in research trials and studies.
Main Responsibilities:- Manage your own caseload, including taking consent and collecting clinical samples and data from participants.
- Work clinically with the team to promote high standards of patient care and research practice.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of research protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with the clinical studies team and the wider multi-disciplinary team (MDT) in the management of your own caseload of children in clinical studies.
- Registered Paediatric Nurse with 1st Level registration with NMC.
- Degree level education and MSC or equivalent or working towards.
- Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certification.
- Leadership and Management Experience.
- At least 5 years post qualification experience in coordinating and managing patient care.
- Experience of contributing to practice development and working with electronic health record systems (EHRS).
