Paediatric Clinical Research Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Clinical Research Nurse to join our dynamic team at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality research and clinical care to children and young people participating in various therapeutic areas.
Key Responsibilities- Lead on the delivery of research and clinical care to children and young people in various therapeutic areas, including neurology, renal, and infectious diseases.
- Collaborate with Principal Investigators and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement robust systems and processes for clinical care and research governance.
- Provide holistic nursing care to children and young people participating in research trials, including screening, recruiting, educating, and monitoring.
- Contribute to the assessment and management of care pathways for children and young people, including the collation and documentation of study data.
- Develop and maintain relationships with sponsors, Principal Investigators, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of research and clinical care.
- Extensive experience in acute paediatric ward environments as a qualified nurse with previous acute NHS experience.
- Knowledge of clinical governance, improvement agenda, and research governance regulations (ICH/GCP and EU Directives).
- Ability to handle clinical incidents and complaints, and experience in staff management and development.
- NMC Registered Nurse (Child) and current paediatric intermediate life support qualification and defibrillation skills.
