About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Clinical Research Nurse to join our team at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading on the delivery of high-quality research and clinical care for children and young people across a range of therapeutic areas.

Main Responsibilities

  • Leading on the development and implementation of research protocols and procedures
  • Providing holistic nursing care to children and young people participating in research studies
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of research and clinical care
  • Contributing to the assessment and management of care pathways for children and young people

Requirements

  • Extensive experience of working within an acute paediatric ward environment as a qualified nurse
  • Knowledge of clinical governance and improvement agenda
  • Understanding of professional and current issues in children's nursing

What We Offer

We provide a comprehensive induction programme and actively encourage opportunities to develop new clinical and leadership skills. The normal working hours for the post are Monday - Friday 9am- 5pm, although flexibility may be required to accommodate patient visits and assessments outside of these hours.
