Job Title: Senior Telephony Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Telephony Engineer to join our team at East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust. As a key member of our Performance Information Team, you will be responsible for providing expert analysis and reporting to support service improvement.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Interrogate complex data sets to identify trends, exceptions, and areas of concern for all levels of management.
  • Deliver data and statistical analysis to meet operational management and performance management needs of the Non-Emergency Patient Transport Service.
  • Ensure the timely collation, analysis, and presentation of high-quality information.
  • Lead on the reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) and service standards to support service improvement at corporate, area, and individual levels.
  • Develop appropriate reporting solutions, undertake analysis, and evaluation to support specific initiatives/projects implemented.

  • PTS knowledge.

You will be responsible for providing expert analysis and reporting to support service improvement, working closely with the Performance Management and Information Team and other stakeholders to ensure stored information is of the highest possible quality.

We are looking for a proactive analytical individual who can provide high-quality written analysis, with key points summarised concisely, and present information in an easy-to-understand format.

The post holder must be an expert in the collection, manipulation, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of information, contributing to the provision of timely and quality management of information to support cost-effective and responsive NEPTS services across the Trust.

The post holder will also be responsible for NEPTS SharePoint reporting, SQL extraction, and Power BI report creation.

This post is a fixed-term position until the end of March 5.
