Job Title: Electrical/Mechanical Engineer

Location: Sutton-in-Ashfield

Job Purpose: To utilize a range of Electrical/Mechanical Engineering skills to provide support and repairs to all plant, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. To carry out planned preventive maintenance on all plant, adhering to established schedules and protocols.
  2. To respond promptly to reactive breakdowns, minimizing downtime and ensuring timely resolution.
  3. To ensure all equipment worked on is safe and fit for purpose, adhering to regulatory requirements and company standards.
  4. To maintain a clean and safe working environment, promoting a culture of safety and well-being.
  5. To provide support and assistance to team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  6. To manage time and resources effectively, prioritizing tasks and optimizing productivity.
  7. To undertake project work as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  8. To assume responsibility when the Engineering Manager is offsite, ensuring seamless continuity and effective decision-making.
  9. To attend and comply with all training, staying up-to-date with the latest industry developments and best practices.
  10. To adhere to the Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) and its associated policies, maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
Skills Required:
  1. Strong electrical knowledge and fault-finding skills.
  2. Compliance with the 17th edition of BS7671:2008 wiring regulations.
Working Hours:

Continental shifts, 12 hour shifts, 3 on 3 off, days and nights.

Pay Rate:

£22.39ph
