About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housing Litigation Associate to join our team at Michael Page (UK). As a key member of our litigation team, you will be responsible for handling a varied caseload of social housing tenancy and leasehold disputes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handling a diverse range of cases, including ASB and housing management matters, residential leasehold, and more complex cases.
  • Representing clients in court, including notice and ex parte applications for injunctions, committal hearings, and directions and case management hearings.
  • Conducting trials, providing value-added services, and supervising and mentoring junior lawyers.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal and external business requirements, including quality control, SRA Principles, and Court deadlines.
  • Monitoring and reporting on financial and business performance to deliver work in a profitable manner.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of post-qualified experience in litigated social housing work.
  • Strong knowledge of housing law and litigation procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary of between £35,000 and £45,000 per annum.
