The Firm


The firm is a leading provider of legal services, with a strong reputation for excellence in the field of social housing. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality legal advice and representation to our clients, and we are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Associate to join our Housing and Regeneration team.


The Role


The ideal candidate will have a background in a housing management environment, with a steady flow of new instructions from existing clients. We are looking for a motivated and organised individual with ambition, who can provide an exceptional level of service to our clients.


The role involves collaborating closely with Partners on high-value, technically challenging housing management claims, both litigated and pre-litigated matters, and includes liaising with barristers and experts.


The Candidate


  • A qualified solicitor with 5 years of PQE+ (or CILEX equivalent possessing civil rights of audience)
  • Previous experience working on social housing litigation
  • Understanding of anti-social behaviour claims and injunctions, possession proceedings, housing disrepair, housing related personal injury claims and statutory nuisance claims
  • Proven experience in advocating in Courts or Tribunals, as well as the capability and readiness to travel across England
  • Excellent level of client care
  • High standard of verbal and numerical reasoning
  • Ability to analyse, evaluate and communicate information logically
  • Proficient IT skills
