The Role


We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join our Housing and Regeneration team. The ideal candidate will have a background in a housing management environment, with a steady flow of new instructions from existing clients.


The role involves collaborating closely with Partners on high-value, technically challenging housing management claims, both litigated and pre-litigated matters, and includes liaising with barristers and experts.


Key Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on social housing law and provide expert guidance on housing management claims
  • Collaborate with Partners to develop and implement effective strategies for high-value claims
  • Liaise with barristers and experts to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Provide exceptional client care and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in social housing law and regulations


Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor with 5 years PQE+ (or CILEX equivalent possessing civil rights of audience)
  • Previous experience working on social housing litigation
  • Understanding of anti-social behaviour claims and injunctions, possession proceedings, housing disrepair, housing related personal injury claims and statutory nuisance claims
  • Proven experience in advocating in Courts or Tribunals, as well as the capability and readiness to travel across England
  • Excellent level of client care and communication skills
  • High standard of verbal and numerical reasoning
  • Ability to analyse, evaluate and communicate information logically
  • Proficient IT skills
