In alignment with our dedication to staff development and career advancement within CAMHS, we are pleased to announce openings for positions within the newly established CAMHS Crisis and Liaison Psychiatry Service. This role presents a remarkable opportunity for dedicated, adaptable, and enthusiastic individuals with the requisite skills to become part of a pioneering service.

The CAMHS Crisis and Liaison Psychiatry Service is seeking to hire Youth and Family Support Coordinators to collaborate with Practitioners in the team, providing assistance to young individuals experiencing crises in their residences and acute care facilities. This position is designed to serve the entire Dorset area. The responsibilities associated with this role are both challenging and fulfilling; a flexible and diligent approach is crucial for effectively managing the demands of a Crisis Service.

This position is available on a full-time basis, and we are open to considering flexible working arrangements. Some weekend shifts and early/late hours will be part of the role, but these will be organized through a scheduling system. The successful candidate must possess experience in delivering therapeutic support to children and adolescents facing mental health challenges, as well as their families. A substantial background in a clinical capacity within the mental health sector is a prerequisite.
