Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join our team at Restore Limited as a Volunteer and Training Administrator. This part-time role will involve working closely with our staff to develop and implement volunteer engagement strategies and provide training to support mental health services in Oxfordshire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement volunteer engagement strategies to increase volunteer participation and retention.
  • Provide training and support to volunteers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively contribute to our services.
  • Work closely with our staff to identify training needs and develop training programs to meet those needs.
  • Coordinate and manage volunteer schedules and activities to ensure effective use of volunteer time and resources.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with volunteers, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including data entry, record-keeping, and reporting.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to volunteer engagement and training.

Requirements

  • Intermediate understanding of Google/Microsoft packages, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Ability to build good working relationships with colleagues at all levels.
  • High levels of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to work to deadlines.
  • A self-starter who can work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Creative flair and an ability to work imaginatively.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a wide range of tasks.
  • Ability to deal with information in a confidential manner and respond with sensitivity to the opinions of others.
  • Flexible and non-judgemental approach to people and work.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, to organise work and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent listening skills and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Excellent time management skills with an ability to manage a range of objectives.
  • Awareness of and commitment to all aspects of anti-discriminatory practice.
  • Experience of using SAGE or other HR information systems.
