Graduate Surveyor/Junior Asset Manager For Established Property Group

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Surveyor/Junior Asset Manager to join our team at AMR - Specialist Property Recruiters. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for supporting the management of our property portfolio, identifying trends and suggesting improvements, and working closely with our property management team to ensure properties are well maintained and complying with insurance conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Portfolio Management: Assist in the management of our property portfolio, including identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to optimize portfolio performance.
  • Identify Trends and Suggest Improvements: Analyze data and market trends to identify areas for improvement and suggest strategies for enhancing portfolio performance.
  • Work with Property Management Team: Collaborate with our property management team to ensure properties are well maintained and complying with insurance conditions.
  • Identify Off-Market Property Sales: Identify opportunities for off-market property sales and work with external agents to negotiate deals.
  • Assist with Lettings, Rent Reviews, and Lease Renewals: Assist with lettings, rent reviews, and lease renewals, including preparing marketing materials and negotiating with tenants.
  • Responsible for Vacant Property Schedule: Maintain an up-to-date vacant property schedule and ensure that company website reflects all vacant properties.
  • Maintain Company Social Media Platforms: Ensure that company social media platforms are up-to-date and engaging.
  • Create Marketing Materials: Create marketing materials, including property brochures and floorplans, to showcase our properties.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field.
  • Previous Property Experience: Previous property experience is essential.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent working knowledge of MS Office, MS Excel, and Outlook.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Positive Attitude: A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the industry.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: Work Monday to Friday.

Supplemental Pay Types:

  • Commission Pay: Eligible for commission pay.
