We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Junior Estates Surveyor at Synchro. As a key member of our Estates team, you will play a crucial role in the management of our property portfolio, focusing on telecoms sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lease Management: Assist in the negotiation, renewal, and management of leases and property agreements for telecoms sites, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of the property portfolio, including lease agreements and site details, to ensure seamless communication with stakeholders.
  • Compliance: Ensure telecoms sites comply with planning, environmental, and health & safety regulations, and assist in resolving any related issues that may arise.
  • Cost Control: Support the management of property-related costs, including negotiating terms with landlords and ensuring timely payments, to optimize our financial performance.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a point of contact for landlords, agents, and other stakeholders, providing clear and professional communication to ensure smooth relationships.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports on lease renewals, site performance, and other relevant metrics for senior management, to inform strategic decisions.
  • Team Support: Provide administrative and operational support to the Estates team, contributing to the department's overall success and growth.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in property management, surveying, or a related field, with a strong understanding of telecoms industry regulations.
  • Educational Qualification: A degree in Estate Management, Real Estate, Surveying, or a related field, with progress towards professional qualifications (e.g., RICS) highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with familiarity with property management software advantageous.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a range of stakeholders, including landlords, agents, and colleagues.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in record-keeping and reporting, with a keen eye for detail and ability to maintain organized records.
  • Driving License: A full, clean driving license is required, as site visits may be necessary.
