Location: Birmingham, Hybrid Working (2-3 days in office)
Role: Property Management Surveyor / Senior Property Management Surveyor
Salary: £35-45,000 plus benefits (car allowance)
JOB SUMMARY
This position offers a unique chance to join a prominent and forward-thinking national commercial real estate consultancy in the UK and Ireland. The firm collaborates with investors, developers, and occupiers across both public and private sectors. The ideal candidate will be tasked with delivering effective and efficient management of investment properties for key national and local clients, working alongside the existing property management team throughout the region.
Operating from modern offices in Birmingham, you will engage in a dynamic and collaborative environment with a diverse range of private and public sector clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee an established portfolio of both national and local clients within the region.
• Address day-to-day property management challenges in a professional and efficient manner.
• Manage service charges, including annual budgeting and reconciliations.
• Provide strategic advice to protect and enhance the value of client assets.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, contractors, and tenants, ensuring excellent service delivery.
• Monitor key lease events and ensure the accuracy of property management databases.
• Facilitate client meetings as necessary, ensuring client needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
• Cultivate relationships with clients and stakeholders in the local and regional property market.
• Continuously seek to enhance working practices and service delivery for the entire team.
• Represent the company and its comprehensive range of property-related services to clients.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• MRICS Qualification (preferred but not mandatory)
• Solid understanding of commercial property management principles.
• Proven experience in managing service charges for multi-let properties.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management databases.
• Valid UK Driving Licence
• Strong understanding of client needs and requirements
• Builds trust and respect with clients
• Actively seeks and incorporates client feedback
• Researches current and future client demands
• Awareness of market trends and dynamics
• Effective presenter of both technical and business information
• Excellent communicator with clients and tenants
