About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Building Surveyor to join our team at Reed Property & Construction. As a Graduate Building Surveyor, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects across the UK, developing your skills and expertise in building surveying services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver core building surveying services, including Contract Administration, Dilapidations, Party Wall, Landlord and Tenant, Defect Analysis and Rectification, and Developing a Client Brief.
  • Project delivery, JCT Contract Administration (Minor and IF), Technical Compliance (Planning & Building Regulations), Specification writing, and Producing schedules of work.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, good writing and numeracy skills, and ability to present a professional image, especially when client-facing.
  • Full UK driving licence, access to own vehicle, and willingness to travel for work.
What We Offer
  • Graduate salary of £28-32K per annum (depending on experience) - car allowance becomes available after probation period.

Requirements
  • Building Surveying degree graduate.
  • 6 months - 2 years Building Surveying experience.
  • Experience of working on varied projects across the spectrum of building surveying services.
  • An understanding of the CDM regulations 2015.
  • Ability to effectively cooperate and deal with a wide range of internal and external relationships.
  • An excellent communicator who is both approachable and a good listener; also, diplomatic & assertive.
  • Proactive, professional, and personable.
