Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and committed Assessment and Support Coordinator to become part of our vibrant educational organization. The ideal candidate will take charge of all facets of the assessment process, from strategic planning and coordination to administration and evaluation. In addition, this role will involve overseeing the execution and monitoring of support strategies aimed at enhancing student performance and success.

Key Responsibilities:

Assessment Coordination:

  • Organize, schedule, and manage all internal and external assessments.
  • Collaborate with assessment boards to ensure adherence to their guidelines.
  • Supervise the secure handling and distribution of assessment materials.
  • Oversee the registration process for students, ensuring precision and thoroughness.
  • Recruit and train invigilators, ensuring compliance with assessment protocols.
  • Coordinate the collection and submission of coursework and other evaluations.
  • Guarantee the timely and accurate documentation of assessment outcomes.
  • Address and resolve any challenges or discrepancies that arise during the assessment period.

Support Strategy Management:

  • Design and implement effective support strategies to enhance student learning and achievement.
  • Analyze student performance data to identify individuals requiring additional assistance.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to deliver targeted support interventions.
  • Monitor the progress of students receiving support and modify strategies as needed.
  • Report on the effectiveness of support programs to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders.
  • Promote a positive learning atmosphere that fosters student engagement and success.

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Maintain precise records and databases related to assessments and support strategies.
  • Prepare reports and statistical analyses for senior management and external organizations.
  • Ensure compliance with all pertinent policies, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Manage budgets associated with assessments and support strategies, ensuring efficient resource utilization.

Communication:

  • Act as the primary contact for all inquiries related to assessments.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, staff, and assessment boards.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to students and parents regarding assessment and support processes.
  • Organize informational sessions and workshops for students and parents as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in assessment management within an educational environment.
  • Experience in developing and executing support strategies.
  • Strong organizational and administrative capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in management information systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
