HR Advisor Role

SF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled HR Advisor to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. As an HR Advisor, you will play a critical role in supporting the People Manager with all generalist aspects of the role, ensuring that all business needs are met across all areas/divisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide coaching, mentoring, and support to Managers to up-skill and develop their teams.
  2. Support and coach Managers through disciplinary and grievance cases, ensuring a fair and consistent approach.
  3. Offer advice to employees and People Managers on employment-related issues, providing guidance on company policies and procedures.
  4. Manage absence cases of long- and short-term duration, working closely with Managers and employees to find solutions.
  5. Oversee all aspects of the recruitment and on-boarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
  6. Support the business and wider HR department with managing change processes, providing guidance and expertise as needed.
  7. Provide KPI data and metrics to support activity, helping to drive business decisions.
  8. Ensure compliance with all relevant HR policies and procedures, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  9. Conduct reviews of the internal reward and benefits offered, making recommendations for improvement.
  10. Participate in extensive project-work opportunities across new and ongoing projects, applying your skills and expertise to drive results.
Requirements:
  1. Previous experience of managing ER caseload, with a strong understanding of employment law and procedures.
  2. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees and Managers.
  3. Able to use your own initiative, work independently, and manage your own diary, prioritizing tasks and deadlines.
  4. Coaching/Training experience, with a focus on developing the skills and knowledge of Managers and employees.
  5. Full Driving Licence, with the ability to travel to various locations as required.
