Occupational Health Nurse/Technician

At Foyle Food Group, we are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse/Technician to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a progressive beef processing group in the UK and Ireland.

About the Role

This part-time position involves undertaking pre-employment medicals, annual medicals, and ongoing health surveillance/screening at our Melton Mowbray and Gloucester sites. The successful candidate will work closely with our Human Resource and Safety Management team to ensure accurate and full completion of all necessary health records and service documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre-employment medicals and annual medicals for employees
  • Undertake ongoing health surveillance/screening at our Melton Mowbray and Gloucester sites
  • Work closely with the Human Resource and Safety Management team to ensure accurate and full completion of all necessary health records and service documentation
  • Provide advice and guidance to the management team and employees at the sites
Requirements
  • Registered Occupational Health Nurse/Technician
  • Previous experience in an Occupational Health setting
  • Experience in health surveillance relevant to Occupational Health
  • Proficient in I.Skills
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Proven ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Accuracy in recording information and attention to detail
  • Good team player who is flexible and reliable in your approach
  • Access to a vehicle and hold a current valid UK driving license
