About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team in the Royston area. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for conducting searches of individuals, vehicles, and belongings according to site protocols.

Our ideal candidate will have a valid SIA Licence and excellent customer service skills. If you do not currently hold this licence, we provide the necessary training to obtain it.

The successful candidate will be flexible and able to cover weekdays, nights, and weekends. You will also be required to have reliable access to a vehicle for travel between sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct searches of all employees/visitors/contractors leaving site.
  • Patrol industrial, scientific, and office buildings, and the site perimeter.
  • Conduct searches of vehicles entering and exiting site.
  • Monitor outdoor vehicle loading/unloading operations for security compliances and conduct site control room operations.
  • Respond on foot to incidents and building/area zone alarms, manage keys, and perform locking and unlocking duties.
Requirements
  • Have the right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history.
  • Experience in the Security Industry.
  • Valid SIA licence (training can be provided to obtain your licence).
  • Excellent customer service, people skills, and time management.
  • Flexibility to cover weekdays, nights, and weekends.
