**About the Role**
**We are looking for an experienced, hardworking Shift Supervisor for the day to day management of the security team.**
**To ensure the accurate rostering of all officers, - ensuring sufficient cover for holidays, sickness, absence ensuring service levels agreed are always attained. To pro-actively manage all Staff, absentees, conduct and performance issues.**

**Job Opportunity**
**Key Responsibilities**
- To be the first point of contact for security personnel queries.
- To deal with all HR issues which may arise within the team.
- Carry out return to work interviews with every officer, for every period of absence
- To monitor attendance and sickness levels, and report trends.
- To update Assignment Instructions, site documentation, Ensure ISPS records are maintained to Transec & customer required standards.
- To assist with recruitment ensuring that staffing levels meet the agreed service levels, and that all recruitment is completed in a timely manner and in accordance with company policy. Ensure that ISPS training courses are arranged to meet service level agreements when required.
- To assist in all security and emergencies drills when required and keep records of same.
- Ensure all personnel have undertaken the appropriate training and have been issued with an SIA licence or LDN to meet industry requirements.
- To provide administrative support for the appraisal and grievance procedures. Carry out disciplinary investigations if and when required.
- Ensure that all rostering is accurate in order to ensure no pay queries, no dropped shifts.
- Assist in the management of all direct and indirect costs to ensure these matches the requirements for the effective operational running of the contract.
- Ensure accuracy of all operational data; and regularly review and report on progress, highlighting any risk of significant variances as they arise, taking action where needed.
- To ensure all Securitas health and safety policy is strictly adhered to.
- Ensuring understanding and demonstrable implementation of the Values of Integrity; Vigilance and Helpfulness
- To assist with adequate and appropriate training and ensure that any necessary advice and support is provided to make the team successful.
- Active steps to maintain communication; recognize achievement and develop the Securitas Community
- To be aware of, and (with the assistance of support functions) ensure all staff and officers in the Branch comply with, all aspects of Securitas Policy and relevant legal and regulatory requirements; and can demonstrate appropriate levels of control.
- Leadership and strategic direction for the function, ranging from planning to motivational and promotional activities expounding the value of security, and promoting the good name and business interests of both Securitas Security Services and their clients.
- Routine line management and leadership of staff employed by Securitas Security Services. They will develop a strong staff rapport, being available to listen, to assist and to support wherever possible and to react appropriately and promptly to staff concerns and HR issues.
- Ensures the site documentation is maintained, accurate and up to date at all times.
- Ensures all members of staff are fully conversant and compliant with the site documentation and are signed by all members of the staff.
- Ensures all members of staff are full trained in all aspects of the security functions of the contract and full and detailed training records are complete and up to date at all times.
