Position**:Experienced Relief Security Officer to work alongside one of our most prestigious clients in an Industrial environment.**

Hours**:Full-time, minimum 36 hours per week**

Shift Patterns**:Days, Nights, and Weekends**

Transport**:Access to a vehicle or excellent transport links**

Requirements**:Must possess a valid SIA license & CCTV licence**

Embark on an exciting career with Securitas as an **Experienced Relief Security Officer.** Be a vital part of our dynamic team, where your skills and leadership will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and security of our client in **Royston**. As a key player within our organization, you will not only bring your wealth of experience in Relief Security Officer services but also contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our security operations.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Escorting visitors from A to B.
- Conducting vehicle/pat-down searches if and when required.
- Gatehouse duties - directing delivery drivers and visitors to the correct parking.
- Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV - carrying out routine checks if required.
- A large percentage of your day will be walking around our large site, conducting external and internal security patrols.
- Looking out for suspicious activity to diffuse.
- Retain full control of any threatening behaviour until the arrival of the police or any other external agency.
- Monitoring loss and waste - reporting any incidences.

**Essential criteria**:

- Excellent customer service, people skills and time management
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
- SIA License
- CCTV licence
- Minimum of 1 years security experience.
- Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history
- Flexibility - must be willing and able to cover weekdays, nights and weekends.
- NB, it is essential on this site that all staff have regular physical searches as well as X-ray machine searches. Therefore, anyone with body piercings may be required to remove these before your shift._
