Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Sales and Business Development Manager to join our team at Verto People. As a Sales and Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing key accounts and driving business development efforts in the critical power industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage key accounts via distribution channels and OEM customers within the critical power industry, primarily focusing on uninterruptible power supplies (UPS Systems) and similar power quality products.
  • Develop and grow existing relationships as well as driving business development efforts, selling products for uninterruptible power supplies (UPS Systems).
  • Achieve sales targets by maintaining new power quality sales through demonstrations, exhibitions, and negotiations.
  • Collaborate closely with the Service Department to ensure a high standard of after-sales service.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Key Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, or similar role within electrical engineering.
  • Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a global electrical engineering manufacturer.
  • Experience in selling, servicing, or managing accounts within the electrical industry, specifically with uninterruptible power supplies (UPS Systems), power quality, power distribution, battery management systems, switchgear, power inverters, transformers, Static transfer systems (STS), control systems, cooling systems, or similar within electrical engineering.
  • Knowledge of the data centre industry and UPS Systems market is a plus.
  • Technical aptitude and/or understanding of Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS Systems), power distribution, critical power, or similar electrical/electronic products.
  • A technical electrical engineering qualification or degree is advantageous.
