Role Summary

As a Technical System Analyst, your contributions will be valued from day one.

This position presents an excellent opportunity to be part of the Business Systems & Change team, focusing on the delivery of technical analysis, configuration, support, and related management information.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring that operational services for the business and its members are consistently maintained.

Key Responsibilities

In this pivotal role within the IT department, you will be tasked with:

Ensuring that operational services are delivered in accordance with established standards and service level agreements, providing support during designated business hours Facilitating the timely execution of audit actions and IT risk management strategies Adhering to and contributing to policies, standards, and audits related to business applications Offering technical guidance during various projects within the IT and group transformation initiatives Assisting in issue management and problem resolution for all supported business systems Providing ongoing support for the scheme's digital solutions in collaboration with third-party providers Ensuring compliance with all technical systems support activities as outlined in support models for group Business Systems Contributing to management information and outputs related to supported business systems Building and nurturing relationships within the business for effective system support Managing and resolving technical support calls within the agreed service level agreements Ensuring knowledge and skills are effectively shared within the technical systems support team Delivering application support across all business systems within the technical systems support framework Supporting mandatory and requested system changes, ensuring timely and quality delivery Taking ownership of resolving group business systems support calls and incidents, including collaboration with external suppliers Providing guidance and support in issue management and problem resolution, including development and support for necessary system changes

To excel in this role, you should have:

Previous experience and understanding of pension processes and relevant legislation Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on customer service and meticulous attention to detail Established technical expertise in application systems Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Experience working with third-party vendors Preferably, familiarity with Azure Application Insights (APM) and basic Azure API Excellent communication skills (written, visual, presentational, and verbal), with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences.
