About the Role

As a Technical Systems Analyst, your contributions will be significant from day one.

This position provides an excellent opportunity to be part of the Business Systems & Change team, focusing on the delivery of technical analysis, configuration, support, and related management information.

Furthermore, you will ensure that operational services for the business and its members are effectively maintained.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be entrusted with:

  • Delivering operational services that meet established standards and service level agreements, with support provided during agreed business hours.
  • Assisting in the timely execution of audit actions and mitigation of IT risks.
  • Adhering to business applications policies, standards, and audit requirements.
  • Offering technical guidance during projects within the IT and group transformation portfolio.
  • Providing support and expertise in issue management and problem resolution for all business systems.
  • Continuously supporting the scheme's digital solutions in collaboration with third-party providers.
  • Ensuring compliance with technical systems support activities as defined in support models for Business Systems.
  • Contributing to management information and outputs related to supported business systems.
  • Building and nurturing relationships within the business for effective system support.
  • Managing and resolving technical support calls in accordance with service level agreements.
  • Ensuring knowledge and skills are shared within the technical systems support team.
  • Providing application support across all business systems within the technical systems support framework.
  • Supporting mandatory and requested system changes to meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Taking ownership of resolving group business systems support calls and incidents, including collaboration with third-party suppliers.
  • Advising and guiding in issue management and problem resolution, including development and support for necessary system changes.

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Prior experience and understanding of pension processes and relevant legislation.
  • Strong relationship and stakeholder management abilities, with a focus on customer service and detail.
  • Established technical expertise in application systems.
  • Experience working collaboratively within a team.
  • Familiarity with third-party companies and suppliers.
  • Preferably, experience with Azure Application Insights (APM) and basic Azure API.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, visual, verbal, and presentational), with the ability to tailor messages for various audiences.
