Northside Farm is in search of an experienced General Manager to lead the operations and expansion of our renowned wedding and events venue, which includes on-site accommodations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in strategic planning, financial management, and hands-on operational leadership within the events industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business performance and formulate a strategic plan aimed at enhancing growth and profitability.
- Establish and execute operational systems and reporting processes.
- Prepare and manage the annual budget effectively.
- Inspire, lead, and develop the team to achieve high performance.
- Enhance and maintain the brand reputation of Northside Farm.
- Design and implement a comprehensive marketing and sales strategy.
- Proactively manage the website, social media platforms, and all marketing materials.
- Oversee the sales process, consistently working towards achieving sales targets.
- Develop innovative packages and secure new business opportunities beyond weddings, including corporate events and retreats.
- Conduct show rounds for potential clients in collaboration with the team.
- Ensure meticulous event planning for each confirmed booking.
- Share responsibilities for client relations and event coordination with the existing team.
- Provide event management support on-site during events as needed.
- Manage bar operations, including stock control, pricing, and staff training.
