Hotel Operations Director

We are seeking an experienced Hotel Operations Manager to join our team at De Vere Horsley Estate in Surrey. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel estate with 175 bedrooms and 51 event spaces.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including food and beverage, events, and housekeeping services.
- Work closely with the General Manager and other department heads to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Lead and motivate a team of direct reports, including the Restaurant, Bars, Conference & Banqueting Managers, Head Housekeeper, Front Office Manager, and Guest Relations Manager.
- Focus on food and beverage, events, and housekeeping service delivery, as well as payroll and recruitment.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Experience in a large hotel or events venue, overseeing food, beverage, conference, and events.
- A positive approach and excellent communication skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire, and develop a team.
- A service-oriented approach and a passion for high standards, with experience of coaching, developing, and training team members.
- Organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to work well under pressure.
We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 per annum, plus a 20% performance-related bonus scheme. Other benefits include:
