About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Support Officer to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing essential logistical and administrative support in the development, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design and develop IT systems supporting our clients, including maintenance and updating of training and admin databases.
  • Training Coordination: Coordinate and manage training requests using internal systems and external platforms such as Eventbrite.
  • Logistical Support: Identify and coordinate venues and logistical support for training events.
  • Delegate Support: Liaise with delegates regarding training or other support requests, including post-course administration.
  • Problem-Solving: Work with ICT to identify solutions to problems, collate system changes, and prepare business cases for implementation.
  • Meetings and Collaboration: Attend meetings to discuss corporate issues and future developments for Trauma Informed training.
  • IT Systems Support: Collaborate with other forces, agencies, and supply companies regarding IT systems.
  • Website Management: Support the communications team by updating websites for our clients.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to our office and team for the delivery of products and workstreams.
  • Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to offer in-field support.
  • Proactive Approach: Take a proactive problem-solving approach focused on solutions and continual service improvement.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Experience in analysing and resolving problems on computer application systems and associated software.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Windows current operating systems and applications.
  • Filing and Recording: Experience in maintaining computerised and manual filing/recording systems.
  • Partnership Working: Experience working in partnership with other departments and agencies.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to handle difficult, sometimes confrontational circumstances.
  • Interrogation and Reporting: Strong communication skills across a wide spectrum of individuals and groups.
  • Problem-Solving and Investigation: Ability to interrogate computer systems to produce reports and management information.
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivated with the ability to investigate problems, develop solutions, and take timely action to resolve them.
  • Report Writing: Experience in writing complex reports with analytical content.
  • Information Systems: Experience in developing, using, and supporting information systems used by third parties.
  • Travel: Ability to travel on business as required.
