Role Overview:

As a Systems Engineering Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in the development and oversight of the Systems Engineering tools and infrastructure framework. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the design and management of Systems Engineering resources.
  • Providing guidance and support to users of Systems Engineering tools to enhance their effectiveness in engineering tasks.
  • Collaborating with specialized engineers to ensure their requirements are integrated into the Systems Engineering framework.
  • Working alongside other Systems Engineering leaders to address their needs in implementable and maintainable solutions.
  • Monitoring advancements in relevant technologies, including model authoring tools and information management systems.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strong understanding of modern Systems Engineering methodologies applied to large-scale system development across various system types.
  • Experience with Systems Engineering technical methods and practices, including ontologies, modeling languages, architecture frameworks, and associated tools.
  • Familiarity with contemporary information technologies and methodologies such as cloud computing and secure design principles.
  • A degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent professional experience.
  • Chartered status or progress towards it is preferred.
