We are seeking a driven individual to join our Priority Service (PPS) team at our Duckmanton office in Chesterfield.
The successful applicant will report directly to the Managing Director, providing essential support, updates, and undertaking various related tasks. You will collaborate with other members of the Priority Service team to ensure the timely completion of projects.
Upon joining, you will receive thorough training, including hands-on experience with the installation team and guidance on our internal IT systems, as well as an overview of our business operations. Opportunities for career advancement will be available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Managing Director of PPS and take charge of key responsibilities as directed by senior management.
- Support the Service and Installation departments.
- Manage incoming calls and log issues reported in our service software.
- Prepare quotes for new maintenance agreements and planned maintenance services.
- Provide out-of-hours support on a rotational basis to engineers and the helpdesk.
- Coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements for engineers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications and Skills:
NVQ or higher in electronic engineering
Proficient IT skills
Experience in a Service and Installation role within the electronic security sector or a related field
Excellent communication skills and proficiency in written English
Full clean driving license
