We are seeking a driven individual to become a part of our Priority Service (PPS) team, operating from our office in Duckmanton, Chesterfield.
The selected candidate will report directly to the Managing Director, offering support, updates, and assistance with various tasks. Collaboration with other team members in the Priority Service department will be essential to ensure timely project completion.
Upon joining, comprehensive training will be provided, including hands-on experience with the installation team and familiarization with internal IT systems, along with an overview of the business operations. There will be opportunities for career advancement for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Managing Director of PPS and take charge of essential functions as directed by senior management.
- Assist the Service and Installation teams.
- Handle incoming calls and log service faults into our software system.
- Prepare quotes for new maintenance agreements and planned maintenance tasks.
- Provide after-hours support on a rotational basis for engineers and the helpdesk.
- Manage travel and accommodation arrangements for engineers.
- Coordinate with internal staff to ensure smooth project execution.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
NVQ or higher in electronic engineering
Proficient IT skills
Experience in a Service and Installation setting within the electronic security sector or a related field
Excellent communication skills and proficiency in written English
Possession of a full clean driving license
