Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Sales Director to lead our commercial growth efforts and drive the expansion of our solar energy and net zero solutions within the commercial and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive B2B sales strategy to drive new business opportunities and forge relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Lead a high-performing sales team, setting targets and KPIs to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Identify new business opportunities, attend industry events, and negotiate large contracts with key decision-makers, including C-suite executives and sustainability officers.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities, ensuring that sales strategies are aligned with emerging opportunities and the company's objectives.

Requirements:

  • Circa 10 years of B2B sales experience, with at least three years in a sales leadership role.
  • Proven track record in closing deals within the renewable energy sector or selling net zero business services to UK SMEs.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead a sales team in a high-growth environment.
  • Highly motivated, target-driven, and able to negotiate effectively while fostering strong relationships with customers and team members alike.
