Job Title: Financial Operations Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Assistant to join our team at Stonegate Group. As a Financial Operations Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes, including petty cash management, payment processing, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly operator fees via BACS to ensure timely and accurate payments.
  • Process additional support fees, incentives, and referral fees.
  • Investigate petty cash exceptions and ensure policies and procedures are met.
  • Input into improving our petty cash management system to optimize efficiency.
  • Create and distribute weekly reports to highlight issues, trends, and risks.
  • Contribute to the Finance efficiencies program by challenging ways of working.
  • Work with operators, general managers, area managers, and regional managers to resolve errors and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Manage help desk queries and provide training to new team members.
  • Develop and maintain procedures and documentation.
  • Support acquisition preparation and implementation, as well as tasks related to transition sites.

Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience working in a team environment and processing data to a high accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of finance and accounting principles.
  • Proven experience with Excel and financial software.
  • Knowledge of financial systems, including Zonal till system and Zonal dimensions.
