In the role of Support Assistant for Special Educational Needs, you will be tasked with providing essential support to students with diverse learning requirements within an educational environment. Your duties will encompass:

  • Assisting with tailored learning strategies for individual students.
  • Facilitating engagement during classroom activities.
  • Contributing to a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere for all learners.
Essential Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a relevant qualification in Education or Special Educational Needs, along with:

  • Experience in supporting children with various learning challenges.
  • Familiarity with Key Stage 1, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), Key Stage 2, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Educational Background:

A degree in Education or a related discipline is preferred.

Professional Experience:

Prior experience in a Teaching Assistant capacity within a school setting is crucial.

Skills and Knowledge:

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
