Position Overview:
The Restaurant Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing the daily activities within the dining establishment, ensuring top-notch customer service and upholding exceptional standards in food quality and cleanliness. This position entails supervising staff, liaising with the kitchen, and addressing customer feedback to facilitate a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Staff Management:
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of restaurant personnel, including servers, hosts, and bar staff.
  • Manage employee attendance to maintain optimal staffing levels.
  • Resolve staff issues and conflicts professionally.

2. Customer Service:
  • Ensure all patrons are greeted and served promptly and courteously.
  • Effectively address customer complaints and feedback to guarantee satisfaction.
  • Monitor dining areas to maintain a clean and inviting environment for guests.

3. Operational Duties:
  • Assist in managing the restaurant's daily operations to promote efficiency and profitability.
  • Oversee food preparation and presentation to uphold quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and restaurant policies.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as necessary.

4. Financial Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing the restaurant's budget and financial performance.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Support sales reporting and analysis to identify areas for improvement.

5. Communication:
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff and other personnel to ensure smooth service.
  • Communicate effectively with management and staff regarding policies, procedures, and promotions.

6. Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality sector for at least 2 years.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service abilities and a professional demeanor.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage stressful situations.
  • Proficient in restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems.
