As a Community Housing Officer specializing in Traveller Services, you will excel in a dynamic setting, engaging with members of the Traveller community and collaborating within a dedicated team.
About the Role
In your capacity as a Community Housing Officer, you will:
- Provide assistance to vulnerable individuals residing in roadside encampments and on settled sites.
- Support approximately 50 families, ensuring they receive necessary housing assistance.
- Deliver a city-wide service, liaising with both the Traveller community and the general public regarding encampment matters.
- Work alongside colleagues in Leeds City Council to build and maintain strong relationships.
This role offers a diverse and rewarding experience, allowing you to develop new skills and become well-versed in our operational procedures.
