Smart Works Birmingham is a prominent charitable organization dedicated to assisting unemployed women in their journey towards securing employment. Our core mission revolves around empowering women by equipping them with essential attire and the confidence needed to excel in job interviews.

Over the years, we have positively impacted the lives of thousands of women, with a remarkable 63% of our clients obtaining employment within a month of utilizing our services. Our outreach extends across various cities in the UK.

We are currently seeking a Trustee focused on Young Women's Initiatives to join our Board in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will prioritize understanding the unique needs of young women aged 16 to 25 and serve as their advocate throughout the West Midlands.

Key Responsibilities of the Trustee:

  • Collaborating with the Board to ensure sound governance
  • Shaping the strategic vision of the organization
  • Representing Smart Works within the community
  • Fostering relationships with key stakeholders
  • Engaging with policymakers to drive initiatives

The ideal Trustee will possess a genuine passion for supporting young women and a strong commitment to advancing equity and inclusion. Experience in youth-oriented projects or social impact initiatives is highly desirable.
