About the Role

We are seeking a highly specialist clinical psychologist to join our dynamic team at Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Health in Mind service, you will contribute to the provision of psychological assessment and intervention to children, young people, and families accessing our support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of work streams, waiting list initiatives, and clinical pathways within the Health in Mind team.
  • Deliver training and development programs for staff, focusing on therapeutic interventions, single session consultation, and tiered models to promote timely care and reduce health inequalities.
  • Contribute to leadership and service development within the Health in Mind team and allocated streams.
  • Undertake personal appraisal and continuing professional development, adhering to Trust policies and procedures.
  • Act as a role model, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and promoting the values and beliefs of the organization.
  • Manage a caseload of patients, including children, young people, parents, and families.
  • Lead transformation projects to innovate and improve service delivery.
