About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Communications Manager to join our dynamic team at Resolute Digital, a Weber Shandwick Company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic communications plans that drive business results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing counsel and guidance on strategic communications initiatives.
  • Media Relations: Develop and execute media relations plans to secure media coverage for clients, leveraging digital and social media outlets, as well as a diverse set of influencers.
  • Content Creation: Compose media materials, including press releases, pitch notes, client briefings, and messaging documents, to support client communications initiatives.
  • Project Management: Successfully manage client expectations, team resources, and deliverables around major campaigns and projects.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research on a wide range of issues, review and prepare executive summaries and/or analyses of information into strategic and actionable recommendations.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience within media relations planning for consumer clients.
  • Project Management Skills: Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to translate client needs into effective project plans.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and presentations.
  • Team Leadership: Ability to lead small teams and conduct research on a wide range of issues.
