Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a community empowerment strategic plan in partnership with the Board, ensuring alignment with our mission and goals.
- Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the organization, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Develop projects and partnerships with community members, maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders, and promoting our mission and values.
- Fundraising and Financial Management: Lead fundraising initiatives, secure sustainable funding streams, and manage financial resources to ensure the organization's stability and growth.
- Team Leadership: Inspire, mentor, and manage a dedicated team of professionals, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the third sector or a related field.
- A solid understanding of the challenges faced by people living in areas of multiple deprivation.
- Evidence of delivering positive and impactful community development initiatives.
- Excellent strategic thinking, with the ability to translate detailed data analysis, knowledge, and vision into actionable plans.
- Financial acumen and experience in managing budgets and securing funding.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in the third sector.
