About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Art Therapist to join our team at West London NHS Trust. As an Art Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing group and individual art therapy to service users in the borough of Hounslow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide group and individual art therapy sessions to service users in Hounslow
  • Work collaboratively with mental health teams and non-statutory community resources
  • Establish strong links with the borough mental health teams and local multi-disciplinary teams
  • Manage risk in a collaborative way and work autonomously
  • Implement trauma-informed approaches for a range of presentations
  • Support the wider team to work with service users through formulation
  • Develop your part of the service in liaison with inpatient and community teams
  • Supervise trainees on placement
