About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Creative Arts Therapist to join our team at Phoenix Learning & Care Group. As a Creative Arts Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting the mental health and wellbeing of our neurodiverse learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Trauma-Informed Therapy: You will work with a small caseload of learners, providing individual and group therapy sessions that are tailored to their specific needs.
- Collaborate with Education Team: You will work closely with our education team to develop and implement therapeutic strategies that support the learning and development of our learners.
- Design and Deliver Training: You will design and deliver training sessions for our education team on best practice and effective ways to support learners with neurodiverse needs.
- Contribute to Team Meetings: You will attend regular team meetings to discuss case studies, share best practices, and contribute to the development of our therapeutic services.
Requirements:
- Postgraduate Qualification: You will hold a recognized postgraduate qualification in Art Therapy, Music Therapy, or Drama Therapy, and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience: You will have significant experience working as a Creative Arts Therapist, with a proven track record of delivering trauma-informed therapy and working with neurodiverse learners.
- Training and Development: You will be committed to ongoing training and development, with a desire to stay up-to-date with best practices and research in the field of Creative Arts Therapy.
- IT Skills: You will have good IT skills, with experience using Microsoft packages such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Driving License: You will hold a full driving license, with the ability to travel to other sites as required.
