About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Assistant to join our HR team at Clarks, a leading international business with a rich history of innovation and excellence. As a Payroll Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of employee payments, working closely with our SAP payroll systems to ensure compliance with international regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll transactions, including statutory payments and deductions, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage sensitive employee data, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection protocols.
- Collaborate with the HR team to resolve payroll-related queries and issues.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of payroll processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience in payroll administration, with a strong understanding of statutory payment and deduction processing.
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in SAP payroll systems.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- A good understanding of payroll principles, including gross to net calculations.
- CIPP qualification or part-qualification is desirable.
